At Impromptme we believe in the power and importance of face-to-face interactions and so we have created a simple, straightforward application that enables users to meet up with people they see on their screens. Our app is designed to encourage people to go out and to build meaningful relationships. Our business model doesn’t relay on users being constantly online like most social app do. With our model, we take commission from the amount our users spend when they meet in one of our partner venues. Venues in return gain a platform where they only pay for real customers brought to their businesses. We have started to test Impromptme app in London where we have partnered with more than 15 venues so far. The second business activity we see great potential in is using our technology to penetrate the market of conferences and events. The conference market has been booming in recent years as organisers want to provide attendees with all the useful information they may require, in one unified application. The same happens with certain types of events, where the organizers want to have a direct channel with attendees to relay important information. Even more importantly, these conferences and events want to prompt face-to face interactions between attendees too, which is our main competitive advantage. Also we can offer a highly competitive price, compared to today’s market offerings. The owners have invested 30 000 GBP into the company, which has enabled us to maintain a positive cash flow and create a product that is ready for the market. We are keeping our costs as low as possible in order to sustain our operations.
